This is an online positive reinforcement based exercise class for your cat!
Increase your cat’s muscular strength, core stability, body awareness, flexibility, confidence, and training skills while reducing the risk of injuries.
There is no prior training experience required for this class.
Some of the exercises taught in class include:
- Front Feet Targeting
- Rear Feet Targeting
- Back Up
- Stand Posture
- Sit to Stands
- Shake a Paw
- Hoop Arm Jump
We will be using high value treats to encourage our cats to participate in the exercises with us. My cat LOVES Churu Lickable Tubes, and I also like to have something more solid for treat tosses such as cooked chicken breast, Catit chicken jerky, tiny pieces of cheese, dehydrated salmon, etc.
It is helpful for your cat to come to class hungry 🙂 I also recommend reducing their food intake on training days to prevent a surplus of calories!
The only piece of equipment you will need are 2 paw targets, such as yoga mat, bath mat, foam puzzle mat etc. I recommend that these targets are under 1″ high with a length/width of 2-4x your cat’s shoulder width.
