- Intended Use of This Course
This course is designed exclusively for dog owners to learn gentle, fear-free, at-home massage techniques for their own pets.
- This is NOT a certification course.
- It does not qualify you to offer massage or bodywork professionally.
- Course materials may not be applied to client dogs or used to advertise services.
You warrant that you are the legal owner or primary guardian of the dog(s) you will be working with throughout this course.
- Assumption of Risk
Canine massage and bodywork involve physical interaction with animals, which can be unpredictable.
By participating in this course, you voluntarily acknowledge and assume all risks associated with:
- working hands-on with your dog
- potential injury to yourself, your dog, or others
- any outcomes resulting from the application of techniques learned here
You understand that Sit Stay Squat cannot assess your dog in person and therefore cannot guarantee safety, suitability, or results.
- Medical Considerations
You acknowledge that:
- canine massage is contraindicated for certain medical conditions
- you are responsible for ensuring your dog is healthy enough for massage
- you have received veterinary approval if your dog has any medical concerns, injuries, chronic conditions, or is recovering from surgery
- Waiver of Liability
By enrolling in this course, you release, discharge, and hold harmless:
- Sarah Keller
- Sit Stay Squat
- all affiliates, contractors, and representatives
from any and all claims, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
- your participation in the course
- the application of techniques
- your interpretation or use of the course material
This waiver applies to both present and future claims.
- Intellectual Property & Course Use
All course materials – including videos, text lessons, images, PDFs, demonstrations, and training systems – are copyrighted intellectual property of Sit Stay Squat.
Participants may not:
- copy, reproduce, or distribute the materials
- share course content with others
- use any material to create derivative courses, workshops, or programs
- use course materials for commercial or professional services
- teach these techniques as part of a paid service
You may learn from this course and apply the techniques only to your own dog(s).
- No Veterinary or Medical Advice
This course is educational and wellness-based.
It does not replace:
- veterinary examination
- diagnosis
- medical treatment
- rehabilitation protocols
You agree to consult a veterinarian if your dog shows signs of pain, injury, discomfort, or illness during or after massage sessions.
