Canine Conditioning Course Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Your Sit Stay Squat Course

By purchasing, accessing, or continuing with this course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. This agreement is between you, the participant, and Sit Stay Squat / Sarah Keller.

Purpose and Intended Use

Sit Stay Squat canine fitness courses are designed to help dog guardians and canine professionals thoughtfully support a dog’s strength, posture, mobility, body awareness, coordination, and general physical fitness through evidence-informed, force-free exercise strategies.

This course is educational in nature. It is not a certification program.

By participating in this course, you understand and agree that:

  • this course does not provide a professional certification, license, or designation

  • completing this course does not, on its own, qualify you to offer paid canine fitness training, bodywork, rehabilitation, or related professional services

  • dog guardians may apply the material with their own dog or dogs

  • professionals may apply relevant concepts within their own education, credentials, insurance coverage, legal permissions, and professional scope of practice

  • participation in this course does not give you permission to represent yourself as certified, endorsed, approved, or affiliated with Sit Stay Squat unless you have received prior written permission

Assumption of Risk

Canine fitness, conditioning, and exercise involve physical activity and carry inherent risk.

By participating in this course, you voluntarily accept the risks associated with exercising with your dog, including but not limited to:

  • injury to yourself, your dog, another person, or property

  • improper performance of exercises

  • inappropriate use of equipment

  • unsuitable flooring, footing, or environmental conditions

  • slipping, tripping, handling errors, or falls

  • complications related to your dog’s pre-existing medical, orthopedic, structural, neurologic, developmental, or behavioral concerns

Because Sit Stay Squat cannot assess your dog in person, no guarantee can be made regarding the safety, suitability, or outcome of any exercise for your individual dog.

You are responsible for monitoring your dog’s comfort, fatigue, stress, willingness, and physical responses throughout all training sessions.

Veterinary Considerations

Canine fitness is not a substitute for veterinary care, diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation.

By participating in this course, you confirm that your dog is medically appropriate for exercise. You also understand that some exercises may be inappropriate or contraindicated for dogs with certain orthopedic, neurologic, systemic, developmental, or pain-related conditions.

Please consult your veterinarian before participating in this course if your dog has, or may have, any of the following:

  • pain or lameness

  • recent injury or surgery

  • exercise intolerance

  • arthritis or flare-ups of chronic pain

  • respiratory or cardiac disease

  • neurologic concerns

  • significant mobility changes

  • uncertainty regarding growth plate status or developmental readiness in puppies

  • any medical condition that may affect safe participation in exercise

Stop any exercise immediately if your dog shows signs of pain, discomfort, fatigue, distress, confusion, reluctance, or unwillingness to continue. Seek veterinary guidance when appropriate.

No Veterinary, Medical, Rehabilitation, or Individualized Professional Advice

This course is provided for general educational purposes only.

It does not constitute or replace:

  • veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or care

  • rehabilitation provided by a qualified rehabilitation professional

  • individualized exercise prescription

  • orthopedic, neurologic, structural, or medical assessment

  • individualized professional canine fitness training

  • individualized behavior assessment or treatment

Sit Stay Squat does not diagnose, treat, cure, or rehabilitate medical or behavioral conditions. No guarantee is made regarding results, progress, or outcomes.

  • carefully observe your dog for signs of pain, discomfort, fatigue, stress, confusion, or unwillingness

  • modify, pause, or discontinue exercises when needed

  • follow the safety guidance provided throughout the course

  • seek veterinary or other appropriate professional support when necessary

Your dog does not need to be perfect. Your dog does need to be comfortable, willing, and physically appropriate for the activity being performed.
