Course Instructor

Sarah Keller CPCFT, CCFT, CCBW, NASM-CES, CPDT-KA

Sarah has spent over 10 years studying advanced human fitness ranging from long distance running, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and pre-habilitation exercise.  She has first hand experience on just how important a well designed exercise program is in leading a healthy, pain-free life.

In 2017 Sarah traveled to Chicago to learn more about the benefits that fitness has for our dogs, and is currently Canada’s only Multi-Certified Canine Fitness Trainer, with certifications through both The University of Tennessee (CCFT), as well as Wizard of Paws Rehabilitation (CPCFT).

In 2021-2022, Sarah completed the in-person training, case studies, and exam to become a Certified Canine Massage & Body Worker (CCBW) which has deepened her understanding of canine anatomy.

In 2022, Sarah completed The National Academy of Sports Medicine ‘s Corrective Exercise Specialist program (NASM-CES) which leverages an understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics to address movement compensations & imbalances in order to improve overall quality of movement and reduce the risk of injuries.

In 2022, Sarah also became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) in 2022, through passing a comprehensive exam and demonstrating over 300 hours of dog training experience.

It is through this combined understanding of dog anatomy & biomechanics, corrective exercise strategies, and dog training that Sarah is able to teach both dogs and their humans about the ins and outs of canine fitness training.
