You can easily tell that Sarah is passionate about the classes and teaching. Her passion, combined with the knowledge of anatomy of canines and humans, gives this class an extra boost that we need when considering exercising.
Each class is always different and exciting. And Sarah always values feedback from each class and adjusts the workouts as necessary to the group, which is amazing!
I highly recommend this class to all ages and to everyone regardless of physical fitness level.

Since coming to classes I feel like Josie and I are closer than ever. Josie is also always SO tired after class, and she’s a quite high energy dog so it’s nice to have her fast asleep when we get home haha. She truly gets a great workout- body and mind. I’m also always tired and sore after class (in a good way!!). Both human and dog are sure to get a great workout!
Sarah truly goes above and beyond to make sure it’s an awesome experience for everyone in every class she runs.
I can’t say enough great things about Sit Stay Squat!!! Try a class, you will love it!

Sit Stay Squat offers indoor classes in the winter and outdoor classes in the summer. A typical indoor class would have us (the humans) exercise at stations/circuit training. The dogs either participated in the exercise with us or have separate activities that would keep them engaged while the humans completed their exercises. Some of the exercises (for the dogs) included balancing exercises using Fit Bones or wobble boards. For a typical outdoor class, we would workout at local off leash or dog friendly parks and either do exercises using stairs, picnic tables or balancing on logs (for the dogs) in the parks.
Sarah is very knowledgeable with both human and canine fitness and has many different certifications.
This has been the best experience for Zoe and I. We highly recommend Sarah and her Sit Stay Squat classes!”

"We have been loving our classes with Sit Stay Squat! My dog has spondylosis (a form of doggy arthritis) and I enrolled him in the class to help him ward off back pain. You can see that his core is getting stronger and his agility is getting better, which in the long run is going to be super beneficial for him! It’s a great class to bond with your dog and have some fun!"
After 1 year:
“I have a story to tell you.
The last few years we noticed that Boston’s energy was low, he was sore more often than not. Shorter walks were necessary. Etc.
We started class with you I think a year ago? Noticed definite improvements. And actually- anytime he had a break from class he had these little flare ups of his arthritis.
So- anyway. Fast forward to when I started doing two classes a week with him- and we started noticing subtle differences in him. More playful. Able to handle longer walks, etc.
Fast forward to 3 online classes a week now..... and we noticed something else.
He started playing like a puppy again. He had a date with Ryder and Harlow outside last weekend. And usually he just sits and watches other dogs play.
He ran! And let them chase him! He hasn’t played like this, and this long in probably 3 years. He would play, take a break, play, take a break. Seriously. It’s been like 3 years since we seen him do this.
It was so amazing to see him like this. Your classes have made such a difference in him!”

Sarah is knowledgable in both human and canine fitness and has great ideas to incorporate meaningful exercises for the dogs alongside their humans (who are also getting a good sweat on!) The classes are small so there is lots of personalized attention and the dogs love Sarah to bits. I just signed us up for our tenth round of classes as I don't think my pug would forgive me if we stopped going.

It seems like the world doesn’t understand what an important part of the family I am! I run, I jump, I balance, and yet I can’t go to the gym with Mumma?! I try to give her my most pathetic don’t leave eyes (I hear that helps humans come up with excuses to stay home), sometimes it works, but then I feel guilty cause I know Mumma needs to move even more than I do.
Sit, Stay, Squat is the class we had been waiting for - being able to play together while she gets exercise and I get to show off?!
My abs are ripped from exercise ball, I got to beat Mumma at jumping, and I got a bunch of treats as motivation (psst…don’t tell anyone that I don’t need motivation to jump!)
Sarah is friendly and encouraging; she makes sure that the humans don’t hurt themselves and that they are doing exercises properly and within their skill level. She challenges the dogs with hurdles, jump bars, and balance stations. Sarah makes sure we warm up first and a stretch after (who doesn’t like doggie massage)?
There are stations where I relaxed and Mumma did all the work, stations where it was me doing all the work (gimme that cookie!), and stations where Mumma and I worked together – we are the best team ever!
With a class full of dogs and people of all sizes, shapes and exercise levels – Sarah had something for everyone. This is a great way to have fun with your human (and Mumma was happy because I always fell asleep in the car on the way home).
